Élisabeth Bonnardot founded the winery in 1981 (though their history extends back to the 1400's) after studying oenology in Beaune and apprenticing with Jules Chauvet. Her son, Ludovic has been in charge of the estate since 2005, when he took over.
The vines they work are located between Santenay and Pommard and have been fully converted to organics. Ludovic doesn't use any sulphur during the wine making process. This wine is a fantastic representation of a natural wine from Burgundy and absolutely delivers.
